· Each contestant must be enrolled in school at Rolla, St. James, Newburg, Vienna, Edgar Spring, or Home School and age 15-17 on day of pageant.
· Judging will be based on Stage Appearance, Public Speaking, Interview, Group Talent, and preferably have a GPA of 3.0.
· Forms must be submitted before May 10th, 2008. NO EXCEPTIONS
· Contestants agree to abide by all rules of the Route 66 Summerfest pageant that are in affect now or as announced later. Contestants agree that the decision of the judges will be final.
· Contestants shall be single. Miss Route 66 will automatically relinquish her title if she enters into a marriage contract or if she chooses to co-habitat with a male in lieu of a marriage contract.
· If Miss Route 66 fails to complete her term, the title will be passed to the runners-up in the order of their rank, beginning with 1st runner-up.
· Dress code will be announced at practice.
· If you are currently holding a title, you are not eligible to run for the title of Miss Route 66.
